PSIA-AASI is an amazing resource available to you. McIntyre Ski Area is a member of the Eastern Division of PSIA-AASI. Any questions regarding certification, education and benefits can be answered by our area representative Lorraine Briand, or the Snowsports management team.

McIntyre will be holding in-house (online) Children Specialist I prep courses this summer, dates to be announced; email Ian if you are interested! We also have whole pages dedicated to certification resources.
Scholarships are available for certification, which cover the cost of your exam. Membership is required to apply, and the applications will be available mid-September, and the deadline to apply is the end of October.

Scholarships
The application period for scholarships has closed for the season.
Scholarships for next season are expected to open for applications by September 1st, 2024.

Scholarships are available to any member in good standing.

A member who receives scholarship funds in one year will not be considered for a scholarship in the subsequent year, unless there are demonstrated needs and available funds after all other requests from previous non-recipients have been granted.

You need to meet the requirments (pre-requisites) of the specific fund for which you apply.

All scholarship applications are reviewed and awarded by the Scholarship Review Committee.
